The Free Weekend Starts Here!

Me and Daddy are about to head off to London for a photo shoot.
I've only had one professional photography session in my whole life, when I was teenager and I remember having such a good time but not being able to purchase any prints because they were so expensive! So this time I put down a deposit in advance for my photos, and have blown a tonne of money on new clothes (I haven't spoilt myself in a long, LONG time) so it's all good. The girls are spending the day and night at Nanny & Grandads and they've offered to have them all the way through until sunday afternoon. The lucky things are going Trick or Treating for the first time!
Anyway, I must get on before I make us any later...I still gotta fit all those clothes and accessories into my bag!
See you when we get back.

A Day To Ourselves

It's my other half's birthday today and for the first time in years he has booked his birthday off. So we both took the day off, (from being Mummy and Daddy) and spent the day chilling out in Brighton while the girls spent their day at Nanny and Grandad's.
I brought my camera - as you do - and we spent time checking out the shops, laughing and joking as we walked along the seafront, eating donuts (he loves those donuts) and making novelty purchases. It was a lovely day but spending time together just being ourselves for once was good enough!
The weather wasn't too cold and the sea wasn't rough either, making for some really nice photos. I couldn't post all of them on here but here are my favourite shots. The first picture was taken around lunchtime and the third in the early evening. The seagull was just me trying out my camera's zoom but it turned out to be a pretty good one!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

'Moo' Than Just Nature!

Trying to get out of the house with both girls can be daunting.

Simple things such as shopping or getting the bus can turn into a complete nightmare, and when you're anticipating these things somehow your kids can tell... So today I invited Uncle out with us, not only is he a helping hand if I need it, but also some grown-up conversation...brilliant!

We walked to our nearest park/nature centre. It takes about 20 minutes. Baby E.M slept most of the way, and then halfway round the park...
But I got some great photos today and J.R definitely enjoyed herself, if she wasn't busy spotting animals or diving around the hedge maze she was just enjoying that never-ending outdoor space!

J.R's Birthday - Part 2.

Brighton: Sea, Stones & Gale Force Winds.

As promised, part 2. of J.R's birthday our day-trip to Brighton... and despite the description we all had a really good time.
Just go with the flow as Daddy says!
J.R loved the Sea Life Centre, I hoped she would :)
You should've heard some of the things she said to me, asking really good questions, she was really getting into it, no need for a tour guide!
And even Baby E.M had fun looking through the glass and seeing real fish swim up to her face.
Sea Life was definitely a good choice for both girls, and I would recommend it to anyone.
