Learning About God

About 3 months ago I bought a cross for the girls' bedroom, and every night since, J.R has "talked to God" in the way i've taught her.

She puts her hands together and in a quiet, respectful voice says

"Night, night God. Amen."

I've tried to explain to her that God is resting, i'm not sure I can tell her much else at this age. Although i've tried this week to take it a little further by linking God to good and bad behaviour.

In a nutshell:

When you're a good girl, God is happy. But when you're naughty, God is sad.

She definitely understands what i've told her, and it seems to be having a positive effect so far.
